Last Thursday we had the pleasure of being the recipient of the Runway to Freedom benefit fashion show! A big, big shout out to Lauryn Grinnell, Intermezzo Salon, Zebra Club, The Powder Room, designers Lina Cho, Justin Zachary Bartle, and Olesya Grabovskaya for their support.
New Beginnings' very own Board President Nancy Slater was on hand to thank the crowd and also said a few words about the prevalance of domestic violence and how people as individuals and community members could help.
And here we are before the festivities began. Our "Stop Domestic Violence" buttons were a favorite as always.
Directly in front of us, something fresh baked was in the air...
That's right, folks. It's one of the many perks of doing outreach work for New Beginnings. If you'd like to volunteer at such events in the future and represent New Beginnings, let me know in the comments!
